OKKO Health was an already established brand in 2015, but it needed a refresh to bring it into the fast-changing world of digital health.

We set out to create a new brand that would unite the business and rally everyone around a common mission: Home-monitoring of vision between appointments enabling systems to deliver customised eye care and dynamic appointment schedules.

After some conceptual workshops with the client, brand guidelines and a new identity was created. This was achieved with custom illustrations and putting accessibility at the forefront of every design decision.

This project was created while I was the Digital Designer at OKKO Health.

Accessible to everyone
It was critical to the design team that the website not cut corners regarding accessibility. When it came to colours, we ensured that all aspects of the interface utilised a high level of contrast and clarity of function. Considering accessibility from the very first stages meant that the page designs were crafted with the ability to enlarge font sizes and iconography significantly.

Custom illustrations
Custom illustrations were created to help visualise the great technology going into app gamification, data measurements and clinical dashboards.
